The session is run by CiCs - Coaching in Community sports who regulary provide local coaching in schools, holiday courses and childrens parties.
The session is run on a Sunday afteroon 2pm-3pm at Wherwell Playing Fields,
If you are interested in joining the development centre please contact head coach Jason Holmes and complete a registration form.
Players are required to bring a drink, dressed for both indoor and outdoor play in the sports hall and on grass.
If you require boots, trainers or shinpads it maybe possible to borrow a pair, but please ask in advance.
The development centre is coached by Jason Holmes. He is a UEFA 3 coach and also completed his Module 3.
Jason lives in Andover and coaches at various level of the game from grassroots to academy football at Southampton FC. He is also currently Head Coach at the Southampton FC development centre in Basingstoke, so is actively involved in developing young players and mentoring players at various levels of the game.
Jason is an active member of the Wherwell Playing Fields Committee and first played football for Wherwell aged 15.
ShootersFC play their games at Wherwell and Winton Academy so using the school as a base for the development centre was a natural progression. The club feels that it is a great privilege to be linked to both the school and playing field.
We will welcome players through out the season and will use the development centre to encourage players to improve and when ready to move on and play scheduled games.
We will work on various skills and play small sided games from 1v1 to 4v4 and other league teams in 5v5 format.
If you are interested in joining please feel free to contact Jason on 07814957181 or email
