Matt Smith - Coach
Mark is a newly qualified FA Level 1 coach and both are DBS checked .Between Mark and Matt there is an abundance of football experience at various ages. They are both passionate about the game and hope to pass on their knowledge to the boys including individual skills and team play but most of all having a good camaraderie and enjoyment of the game
Team Biography
We are very much looking forward to our 4th season in the Testway Youth League playing on a Saturday morning.
After a successful season as U10’s we are really looking forward to the new challenges that playing as U11’s squad will bring with the introduction of the offside rule and other various rules. The team are a talented set of players who have a strong bond, the boys are focused, eager and hard working and they regularly take their training drills into match day fixtures. With continued hard work and commitment I am confident the boys will continue to improve and grow in confidence. They are a great bunch of lads who have respect for themselves and each other and most importantly arrive and leave with a smile on their face!
This season the Manager/Coaches shall continue to work with the team on their first touch controls, decision making, position awareness in & out of possession and one of their main focuses being more vocal with each other.
