Russell is an FA level 2 qualified coach who gained his coaching badges through the PFA whilst playing for Brentford FC's youth team as a YTS apprentice. Having played at various levels of the football pyramid Russell has gained valuable knowledge from a number of experienced coaches over the years. He has also coaches and project managed on Adidas grassroots programme, delivering coaching sessions/football events to academies, universities, colleges, schools and non-league tea,s all over the country.
Team Biography
Our ethos is very much 'Learning through play and enjoyment' and definitely not 'win at all cost'. We believe in giving players even game time and often encourage individuals to play in a variety of positions, which will help them to better understand the key disciplines of the game.
We have a structured approach to both training and match days, encouraging players to express themselves by being creative and trying new things, often setting team and individual objectives.
Most importantly we are about playing with a smile and creating long lasting friendships and memories.
